A long-term relationship has been formed between GCC countries and Iraq, with friendly cooperation and ties seen across multiple industries. Most recently we have seen foreign ministers from six GCC countries set an agenda with security, regional conflicts, and regional developments as a baseline for discussions. There has been a strong focus on achieving economic and commercial partnerships with the Republic of Iraq, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, downstream, healthcare, construction, banking, finance, food security and agriculture.
